Nursery Manager, West Dulwich

A Nursery Manager is sought for a new children’s nursery close to West Dulwich. You will be responsible for all aspects of the nursery to ensure its smooth operation. You will work closely with the nursery owners to recruit and maintain a strong staff team. The Nursery Manager will be responsible for leading and motivating the staff team. 

The Nursery Manager will be qualified to level three or above with previous experience of leading and motivating a nursery team. You will have previous experience of the Ofsted inspection process and have a strong knowledge of the statutory requirements. The Nursery Manager will have a good knowledge of health and safety and a thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundations Stage, planning and next steps to be able to guide the staff team. 

The nursery will cater for approximately 60 children and their families. The nursery rooms have been fitted out to a high standard and will be furnished and resourced to reflect the high-quality environment. The large garden offers an exemplary play space for the children and has a calm relaxing feel.

The vision of the nursery owners is to provide a high-quality affordable childcare to the local community. The Nursery Manager will support the owners in ensuring the staff team are in an environment of respect, care and well-being. There are possibilities for expansion and progression in future.
